As a leader of the Whistler Blackcomb Employee Experience team, you will assist in delivering and improving employee services to ensure that our employees are provided with the basic services they require to build a great experience. Your organizational skills and outgoing approach will serve you well as you meet the needs of our employees.
What you’ll be doing:
• Overseeing and executing the Onboarding of all new and returning Whistler Blackcomb employees and updating their personal documentation and passes into the hiring system
•Training Employee Service representative employees (beginning, and throughout employment).
•Opening and closing procedures – maintaining security measures at all times. Making sure the team are also following the correct procedures, and following up if required.
•Coordinate all aspects of employee uniforms: distribution, collection, cleaning & repairs reporting, documentation of issued/ returned/ repaired or outstanding items, receive and inventory uniform deliveries accurately and restock as required.
•Maintain proper cataloguing of inventory as uniforms are damaged and destroyed. Year-end account of ALL uniforms; maintain and update the uniform system to reflect uniform changes departmentally.
•Coordinate all aspects of Lockers: maintain/clean/empty locker rooms and change locks throughout the year; organize and administer wait lists; order locks; organize communication around ‘reserving’ lockers for those who keep the same locker season to season.
•Note any building work orders for repairs & maintenance and follow up with the appropriate department or pass on to the supervisor to look into immediately.
•Seasonal ramp-up and ramp-down: Coordinate with divisions’ and business units’ management for mass issuance of uniform, name tags, lockers, etc. to ensure a smooth on-boarding process.
•Training: aid with the hiring process, train, monitor and coach staff. This will continue throughout the season, making sure staff are adhering to polices and processes.
•Maintain and update the training manual and SOP’s, with the assistance of the team.
•Supervise and provide leadership to the department whilst with and in the absence of the Supervisor.
•We are a company that works together and throughout the season you may be required to assist other departments and project work as needed.

•Excellent interpersonal skills, highly organized with strong ability to meet deadlines.
•Extraordinary attention to detail.
•2 years previous experience in a fast paced, face to face, customer service environment.
•Writing efficiency and computer experience with Microsoft Office (word, outlook and excel).
•Knowledge of Whistler Blackcomb and the Whistler community preferred.
•Strong administrative skills – knowledge of HR systems and Guest Connect is an asset.
•Proof of clear criminal record check.
