The City of Fernie is currently accepting applications for a customer-oriented team player to join the Engineering Team of the Operations Department. The City of Fernie has a robust enterprise GIS System that is embedded in many aspects of city operations. Reporting to the Municipal Engineer, the Engineering Technologist – GIS position is responsible for creating, maintaining and distributing GIS services across the organization to support desktop, mobile, and web applications for the organization as well as assisting the Engineering Team on the delivery of engineering-related services and projects.
