Heavy Equipment Operator
Number of positions available: 3
Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Check machinery before driving to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order
• Inspect, clean, lubricate and perform various minor repairs
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavating to lift, move or place materials
• Operate equipment loading and unloading cargo
• Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service
• Adhere to safe practices and procedures
• Follow work site and traffic laws
• Demonstrate effort to improve operations, and work in coordination with other departments
Requirements:
• Completion of Secondary School
• At least 2 years of experience
Work Location: Various locations, willing to relocate
SALARY: $33.50-35.50/hour
NOC GROUP: 2006: 7421; 2011:7521
