As the Program Manager, you play a critical role in creating, shaping and leading Canfor’s Talent Pipeline, both internally and externally. This role drives the strategy and execution of processes, initiatives, and programs that bring the best and brightest talent into our business and sets them on a path of development to become exceptional leaders of tomorrow. You will be an ambassador and career navigator for our existing high potential talent, while leading programs that attract top leadership level talent into the organization.
It will be your mission to build a strong talent pipeline. You will design and deliver pre-planning training and post-planning resources for HRBPs, managers, and leaders. You will also collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Team to develop a calendar of key external industry events and exposure opportunities. You will be building a progressive workforce as you manage various initiatives designed to improve the representation of women and visible minorities. To excel in this role, you come armed with a bachelor’s degree in HR with extensive talent management and development experience, including managing, building, and leading talent programs, and initiatives. For bonus points, you’ll already have your CPHR designation, and experience within recruitment.
