Children’s Program Instructors

Courtenay Recreation is looking for fun and energetic individuals who enjoy working with children and youth to join our team as Children’s Program Instructors. This is a great opportunity if you share our Core Values, have a desire to continue to learn and grow in the job, are committed to serving the public, and enjoy team work and collaboration. This is a non-union, casual position responsible for working with infants and children 0 – 12 years old, in structured and unstructured environments.

Applicants must have experience working with these ages, be willing to work mornings, evenings and weekends, possess First Aid & Food Safe certifications and have a clean criminal record check. Class 4 Drivers License is considered an asset. Experience and/or certificates in recreation, physical literacy, education, human/social services or equivalent will be preferred.
