We are currently seeking a ITSM Service Now Developer to join our team in VANCOUVER, British Columbia (CA-BC), Canada (CA).
Professional Qualifications & Experience
Experience with services built on the ServiceNow platform and all ServiceNow ITSM modules
Work with clients to assess current state processes and tools, ensure ServiceNow requirements are developed and configured on the ServiceNow platform.
Five plus years experience developing ITSM solutions in other ITSM tools such as Remedy, Axios Assyst, HP Service Manager etc.)
Design modifications or enhancements to modules deployed such as Incident, Problem, Service Request and Change Management but not limited to.
Experience with extending the ServiceNow schema to custom applications
Experience creating HTML templates
Exposure to ServiceNow platform capabilities and tools like Discovery and Orchestration and other applications like ServiceWatch, GRC etc.
Support the team responsible for the implementation and administration of the ServiceNow installation including system configurations, gathering and documenting user and process requirements, workflow customizations, and supporting quality assurance teams.
Understands technical and functional design requirements related to ServiceNow.
Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)
Must have the ability to communicate with clients on all levels and must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
A fundamental understanding of ITSM, ITIL or CMDB
ServiceNow Implementation Certification is nice to have
Key Areas of Responsibility
Gather Business requirements, design, test and implement new Service Requests required by and for project related work
Research, develop, and implement solutions across a broad range of clients.
Help Sierra Systems expand its IT Service Management offerings, including tools, processes, and capabilities
Develop requirements and design, configure, upgrade, migrate, and operate market leading service management tools.
Support the implementation of advanced service management capabilities, including process automation, network discovery, and hosting service management tools in a Cloud environment.
Work on small to large enhancements for deployed modules (Incident, Problem, Change and Service Requests as well as Self Service Portal)
Apply knowledge of ITIL and experience with implementing and supporting processes across the ITIL lifecycle.
Support the assessment, evaluation, redesign, and implementation of improved IT services.
Ensure ServiceNow is configured for new and existing software implementations include user setups, interface setups, request/configurations coordination of applicable application server(s) if required
Service Request workflows that meet business requirements from small to very complex designs.
Think strategically to adapt to new situations and challenges, learn new and emerging technologies continuously, and apply excellent customer service and communication expertise to collaborate effectively with colleagues, senior leadership, and clients.
