If you found yourself nodding your head in agreement just now, this Business Systems Analyst role at our Head Office in Vancouver might just be your calling.
Reporting to the Sr. Director – Enterprise Services and with your great communication skills, you’ll forge relationships and collaborate with users from various business units to lead the design, support, issue resolution and the enhancement of OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) system functionality. Understanding the link between technology and logistics is key to this role and that awareness will help to translate business requirements to value-added technical solutions and make recommendations to end users.
So you’re curious to know if you’re our ideal candidate? You are an expert when it to comes to all things OTM (version 6.2 or greater), you have a degree in IT and have a strong understanding of North American rail and trucking logistics as well as vessel-based shipping around the globe. You'll also have experience with OTM implementations, Automation agents, Workflows, Configurations, OTM integration methodologies and have dealt with complex SQL queries. We have a very complex business, so experience within a complex manufacturing setting would be considered an asset.
